The Story Of The Crosses On Sugarloaf Mountain

The following is a published report of the incident in which two young women lost their lives on November 9, 1924, when they fell from Sugarloaf Mountain. It was published in The Graphic on November 13, 1924. The crosses were painted on the face of Sugarloaf Mountain as a memorial.
